If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?
You don’t need to bark at everything, everywhere, all the time…
My dog loves barking and has the loudest bark/howl in the neighborhood. As much as I treasure the sweet “song of Panda”, my neighbors don’t so much.
That dog five houses over is not intimidated by your barking, it doesn’t need to happen…just chill. A leaf rusted two blocks away, it is ok! We don’t need a five alarm fire bark that last a for 25 minutes.
Robo the Jack Russell Terrier next door is not a threat to you or your pack! Its ok to not bark at him incessantly at 7 am!
We seem to have this talk almost everyday, but it never quite seems to work out. It’s a ruff life.
