I don’t think I had a computer of my own until I was around eight years old. I believe it was a NEC computer from Radioshack that I got for Christmas one year.

I kind of used it for school with a dot-matrix printer that I thought was the coolest thing ever. Typed assignments were pretty rarely called for during those days though.

I think I had some floppy disks with Encyclopedia type respurces on them. I do remember this funny game I had though….

It was like Donkey Kong….but with a goat instead of Mario. The orange pixelated goat would junp over something weird akin to barrels.

I played this game a lot because it was my only game. I loved to learn its monotonous music, poor graphics and lack of any cohesive story.
