I feel most productive when I am daydreaming about being productive on vacation drinking a cold beer. There is nothing better than relaxing in a beautiful location with a fishing pole, a beer, family, and friends.

I start thinking about all the work I am going to try and avoid when I get home. I try to think about how I can just never go back home and start a new life, possibly just living off the land somewhere.
I think about how much money I will lose when I go to Vegas and how I want to lose it. I think about how nice it is not to have to cook for a while, stress about maintaining the house, and well of course real work.

I like to think about all the cool lessons I want to do (which does count of work because my job requires creativity). I think about my students and spend some moments to send them positive energy.

At the end of the day, I work on myself and my sanity. I actually get to put a lot into these efforts. I find this very helpful trying to deal with the insane society we have created. I just try to carve out a little slice of something for us, a space to be human, a place to just be for a while.
