When I was in elementary school, a new building was added to our school. There was a “time capsule” left in the building, which held artifacts from that school year. It became the talk of the school….what would be included? Who would find it? What would they think about it 30 years from now?

I would talk to my mom about it constantly. She decided to start a time capsule for me. Over the years it has grown to where I have quite a collection of relatively ancient artifacts from different time periods in my youth and even adult life.

We have photo albums as well, which certainly can make one feel nostalgia, but the time capsule has a lot of hands on type of artifacts. Things that can really jolt long forgotten memories to life. Pictures, Little League Programs, trophies, yearbooks, even a letter to one of my middle school crushes.

I tend to forget it is in the garage, but recently went through it during our recent move. I found myself spending an inordinate amount of time exploring it. It was a pleasant distraction amidst the personal chaos of moving until my girlfriend found the love letter 🙂

Conclusion

Thanks for visiting my blog. I have a lot of people from different countries all over the world that have visited. I am curious to know more about you. What is your name? What is it like where you are? Do you share my sentiments and concerns? Don’t be shy drop me a line. If you write your comment in your language, I can translate.
