Giving back to the community can be very rewarding. As a teacher, I have many opportunities to do this. It is almost a daily occurrence, which is one of the things I love about teaching.

Taking an interest in a young person’s life and teaching them ways to be good people is one of the best things one can do with their life in my opinion. Attending their sports events, getting to know their families, supporting the positive organizations that they are a part of, all make a difference in the quality of life in the community and outside of it.

My main cause of course is my family, but my students are always a close second.
