How do you express your gratitude?

Gratitude can be expressed in many ways. Whether it is a simple thank you, a small gift, or some sort of personal recognition. I express gratitude most often verbally with a complement, or non-verbally with a handshake, pat on the back or something of that nature. Gratitude is vitally important to building relationships and maintaining them. I think in general, gratitude is just the gift of thoughtfulness.
