#Daily-prompt-1955

I am up by 8:00 or ao these days. I have online summer school, but I stikl have to clock in at 8 a.m. so I go to the garage (closet) put on my brown orthopedic sandals and take the freeway (stairs) to work.

On the way I see a few of my friends (pets) and greet them in their unique languages. After a few hours of checking emails, grading and cimmunicating with students, I head to the MPR (the gym) to work remotely.

  1. Great posts as always. I believe that I already discussed this before but I do not get much sleep. I wake up early at around 5:00 am and go to bed around 12 am at night. Not a whole lot of sleep. But it doesn’t negatively affect abilities to function for me. I just feel tired after 6pm and that’s only natural. I just don’t feel the need to get much sleep. Part of it is my anxiety. I’m generally anxious as a person and have been since my time in high school. Back then, I used to stay up all night studying for exams. I do feel getting some sleep is necessary though. I’ve seen what no sleep can do to me and it’s not a pleasant sight.

This post brought to mind the fantastic horror movie “Hereditary”. It tells story of a family struggling to cope with the loss of a child. The mother spends many sleepless nights wide awake haunted by her child’s death. I’m not a huge fan of the horror genre, but this is one of the scariest movies I have ever seen. It kept me awake for several nights.

    Here’s why it’s a must-see:

    1. I have sleep apnea too so that doesn’t help!

Hereditary is a terrifying film for sure!

  2. Nice blog post. I go to bed between 8:20 and 9 p.m. and I wake up at around 4:01 every morning.
