What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?
I am wearing this aging body today. It would be anazing to see how many steps one has had in their life, heart-beats, injuries recovered from, adversities conquered, and cheeseburgers eaten.
My age is 46 years old, but I don’t think that accurately reflects the miraculous nature of human existence.
I have been alive for 16,790 rotations of the Earth, 402,960 hours, 24,177,600 minutes. 1.45 x 10 to the ninth power seconds. It is even more insane to think that, I may not even be halfway through my life.
So in short, my skin and bones are definitely the oldest thing I am carrying around these days. Thinking about this topic makes reminds me of this song by Foo Fighters. Give it a listen if you have a moment!
