Yes, this really is a holiday. Pretend to be a Time-Traveler Day has been an international holiday since well, no one is really sure, but it is a thing! I wrote about why I love Christmas on this post: Keeping Family Traditions Alive, so I am going to keep Christmas at the #1 spot, but this Time-Traveler Day has a lot of runway to take off on still. I can’t count it out!

Has anyone asked, “What are some weird holidays?” New Year’s Eve is not soon, but you already want to have fun? Then celebrate this strange but funny holiday. What to do on December 8th? Put on some armour and ask passers-by on the street: “What year is it?” Don’t forget to watch everyone’s favorite “Back to the Future” movie!
I have always been fascinated by the idea of time-travel. The crazy thing is that physics actually bears out that it is possible. Just spending a day pondering the possibility of time travel would be good fun, but going the whole nine-yards and getting dressed up asking what year it is, sounds like a great time too! Finish the day by watching Back To The Future with some friends or family would be a great end to the day.

I may have to celebrate my first Pretend To Be a Time-Traveler Day this year. It would be fun to see how many people I could make ponder the wonders of our universe. Who is with me?
