#1 – My current snowboard setup I have had for 14 years or so. It is a Burton Blunt with Mission bindings and Thirty-Two boots. It has been a great board and I still proudly rock it on the mountain.
#2 – Nothing says I love you like a ski pass from your mom. My mother has always supported me exploring the mountains and used to buy me ski passes during the lean years so I could still enjoy it.
#3 – For our first anniversary, my girlfriend surprised me with a kayak! I could not believe it! It meant a lot that she would do this for me.
#4 – We have meetings almost every Friday at work. Not that they are terrible, but we all have a lot of work to do typically so are antsy to get out of the meeting and get to work. Every once in a while, our principal gives us the gift of time, which is a very nice gift!
#5 – Back when I was 13, my parents found a paper bag with a bunch of puppies in it by the lake. Hey brought them home and we cared for them for a while while they were adopted out. We got down to two dogs and one got adopted. I cried a bit because I had gotten quite attached to these last two. Christmas was about a month away and my mom told me the kast dog was going to be adopted soon, but he never was. Then on Christmas Day on the tree was a card that said the last dog would be my dog. I was overjoyed! He became my fishing partner, pillow, best friend and walking buddy for life.
