I wish I had more time to spend with my parents. My parents are both in their 80’s now. They have led full lives and are excellent grandparents, but I know they would like to see me more. It is just hard because live two hours away, have all the responsibilities of a family man and high school teacher.
I have told them I would love if they lived closer, but they both are happy where they are at. One of these days, they will be gone, and I will probably feel guilty for not being closer.
