Finding gratitude in each day is a wonderful way to experience life. Those unable or unwilling to show or experience gratitude have a very difficult time finding peace or happiness in this life.

I try to show gratitude to as many people as possible, even when they don’t deserve it. I try to send gratitude to the Earth, the creator, God, whatever you want to call it, even for my struggles. It is amazing how often this can turn my day around.

Sometimes I get into really bitter moods over things that are beyond my control and the only thing that improves this is finding that soft spot of gratitude, the realization that millions of other people are probably experiencing whatever I am going through at that moment, and thinking of sending out positive energy to them. It works incredibly well!

  1. Great posts as always. This is an interesting prompt I can relate to because I do feel gratitude is an important thing. I have often tried my best to showcase my gratitude towards others in social situations. In some cases, however, showing gratitude has not been possible due to constraints of time. During high school, I developed a powerful bond with my English teacher. He was an inspiring role model that guided my life in the right direction. He was also a movie-buff that became a person in whom I could confide when life became tough. We always got along well together sharing a love for movies we treasured. However, I did not get a chance to express my gratitude towards my teacher. When the time came for my graduation, I was forced to part ways with a teacher that earned my affection. I never had the opportunity to say thank you to a teacher that I came to value.

This post brought to mind the underrated film “A Man Called Otto”. Based on the beloved book, it tells the story of a pessimistic senior called Otto whose life changes when he expresses gratitude. One of Tom Hanks’ best movies. Here’s why it’s worth watching:

    1. Its never too late bud! Shoot him an email, I am sure he remembers you!

I haven’t seem this one yet, but I was looking at it on Netflix as something coming soon. Have you seen “Your Honor” the series with Bryan Cranston? We just finished watching it and it was excellent!

      1. Thanks for the feedback. I’m actually in touch with him on Facebook and he follows my movie blog.

I have not seen “Your Honor” series but will keep it on my watchlist. I’m a huge fan of Bryan Cranston. I loved his iconic performance in “Breaking Bad”, which is the only TV show I have seen in its entirety.

      2. That’s cool!

  2. Great post 💚💓💖
