What topics do you like to discuss?

I love talking about politics, economics, and teaching. I am reminded of this political ad from 2018 I believe it was, where an old man is constantly talking to his wife about how to improve the political system with very logical ideas, then at the end the narrator’s voice says, “Vote Bill Johnson for Congress,” in a mellow voice, then the camera pans to the wife who is quietly whispering, “Please.”

My Poor Students

In my classroom, there is nothing to stop me from rambling on about these things other than the threat of all out revolt by my students, but at home everyone knows not to start engaging me on these topics if they don’t want the entire history of each issue with, dare I say, insightful commentary!
