What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

Living a life of gratitude is essential to finding peace. This is the ultimate goal of life as it can never be taken away when you have trained your mind in this way.

I am grateful for each moment because as a history teacher, I am very aware that nothing is promised in life. So many have had their worlds turned upside down by: world events, personal tragedies, and so on and so forth. The greatest lesson history teaches is to enjoy the moment, for nothing is promised.
