Being a kid at heart means having a part of you that is untouched by impurity. Kids are wonderful in that they live in the moment. They are not concerned with the future, or the past, for the most part, they just live in the now. They express their feelings sincerely and without remorse.
As adults, we are taught to hold our tongues, bottle up our feelings, and be mindful of how others might feel. We are preoccupied with the past and the future a lot of the time. If we are lucky we can keep a little bit of that innocence of childhood tucked away for only the most special people in our life. This is the key to happiness and enjoying life in my view!
