Survivor’s guilt

A beautiful poem. I loved the phrasing, words and meaning behind this particular poem. I thought this was a beautiful tribute to soldiers that served in the armed forces. I’m not from the United States but can easily appreciate this tribute to veterans. War is a catastrophic event in which millions of people die. I find movies to be an effective tool that can help deal with these tragedies. For instance, the poem brought to mind the spectacular Oscar-winning war film “Saving Private Ryan”. It tells the story of soldiers embarking on a grim mission to rescue a private whose brothers have died. There’s a scene in the movie where the guilt-ridden private Ryan visits the cemetery and breaks down in tears. It’s a beautiful film that is definitely worth seeing. Here’s why I recommend it strongly:
